FILES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
As of current date, these files are full of copy and currently have minimal to no content.
Please note: All technical deails files for movies and television in the list below are also under construction. Television series that are still airing are in progess indefinitely until the end of the series run and will be updated as needed. However, not all series that are still ariring are on this list because they have been completed and will be updated as needed. The same goes for their respective technical details pages as needed.
Also note: this site has not been 100% fact checked and vetted for mistakes such as incorrect spelling or grammar. This is a constant but slow prosess that takes place often. Mistakes are fixed as soon as they are noticed. Please be patient with us as this site is run by only one person. For more, please read the statement about our team that is posted underneath this list.

- And so much more coming soon!!
Hey! Guess what? We have even more plans coming up too! We want to start adding new genres and catagories and continue to expand! We want to keep you informed while this site continues to grow, so we are going to put updates and upcoming plans here on this page! So, keep an eye on this page to see what else were getting up to here at Random Recommends Media!
Why Does All of This Take So Long (A Look Inside the Prosess)
There is a main reason why there is such a long list of unfinished files here. The reason being that researching and writing about each topic is a very long process that can take weeks or even months. It takes a long time for me as the soul creator and owner of this site to research content. Once I pick something I want to write about, I gather as much information as I can. While I am gathering information, I get the images I am going to need for the page. Then I highlight and make notes on my research and write a first draft of the article by hand. I also get information on the main actors or actresses in a movie or series if it is important. This applies to lead roles only. Then, I check it over and write the article in to a text document and change things as needed. From there, I have to hard code the content into the page. After that, I take my images and resize them if needed and hard code them into the page as well. Then, I put in any links to external pages or other pages on the site like the technical details for a show or movie. Then, I have to sort the page and put it in to its correct section and catogory. Sometimes I have to make new pages to link up everything if a new catagory is needed. This prosess can take weeks to months to complete for even a single page depending on many different varibles. These varibles could include, how much material I have to read and annotate, the number of external links I have to link to, the kind of media that is being focused on or if there is very limited information.
Some things, like television, music, or movies tend to take more time than books or YouTube. As I am a student and this website was origninally a school project, I don't have endless hours to sink into working on this wesbsite and can only really focus on it when I have time, like for instance, my lunch and free preiod. Both only total to be about an hour or a bit more and there is not a lot that can be done in that short time. Also, as a student with a language based learning disabilty called dyslexia, attention devistate disorder (ADD) and a number of other prosessing issues with language, it takes me longer to read and write all the material. This is a very language heavy site and it is very time consuming, effectively making it hard to crank out material quickly.
The other hinderance to my ability to work on these articals faster and have them ready to be published and viewed is that I am a one person writing and research team. I am the only one who works on this site. With the execption of one other person who helped me out in the past when I got in way over my head for a deadline for this site for my school. I had many things to write and I could not do it all before the deadline. That was the only time that I ever asked for help writing any contnet for the site. That same person also helped me dig up some information that was extremely scarece and hard to track down. With only those being the exceptions for when I asked for help, I have done all of this work on my own. With the exception of that small bit of help that I got, all of the writing and design on this website was done by me.
So, why then do I keep adding more and more pages even though I haven't finished the ones that are already built? Shouldn't I be focusing on that? Well, yes. However, I like to have pleanty of options for what to work on here and also, I keep thinking of new things I want to put on this site. I do write them down, but part of reducing the time it takes to make each page is making the template that each article will go into for the final product. So, I make template files with copy in them as a place holder for the text that is going to be put in later. It is also oddly satisfying to see the site grow and take shape. It makes it worth all the time I sink into it.
Yes, the prosess is very time consuming and also very cognitavely challenging and the way I choose to do things is exceedingly time consuming, but it is fun for me. It gives me something to do with my brain that is not school work related and takes my mind off of anything that could be bothering me. This site was never about school work to me. It was always more than a school project. Afterall, that is how this all began, as a class project from an elective class on HTML and CSS in my freshman year of high school. To me, it was about expressing my voice (when I finally get all the facts down, then I'll start adding in my opinions) and telling the world about things that I love and I think people should know about. This was always fun for me and as much time as everything takes, it never seems to get old or labourious. I have worked on this site out of that class for ages. The class ended a long time ago but I loved doing it and I still love doing it. The idea of putting in all this work to achieve a product that I am proud of is what makes it worth it and I would not have it any other way.
So now you know about all the work that goes in to each and every page, my prosess, why there is a huge and ever growing list of unfinished, copy-filled files on the home page and why on Earth everything takes so long.
Thank you for reading if you made it this far down the page. I appreciate the time. Please feel free to browse and hopefully find something new to captivate your mind.
